**Job Summary**:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the hospital premises to ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role includes managing housekeeping staff, implementing cleaning protocols, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Staff Management**:

- Manage and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
- Schedule shifts, allocate tasks, and monitor staff performance.
- Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance Oversight**:

- Ensure all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OPDs, OT (Operation Theatre), and common areas, are cleaned and maintained according to hospital standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper waste disposal.
- Oversee the management of bio-medical and hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
- **Compliance and Quality Control**:

- Implement and enforce hospital policies related to hygiene and infection control.
- Conduct audits and maintain records of housekeeping activities.
- Ensure compliance with NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) or other relevant accreditation standards.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Liaise with other departments to address housekeeping concerns or urgent requirements.
- Handle complaints related to cleanliness or housekeeping issues and resolve them promptly.
- Prepare and submit reports to the management on housekeeping operations.
- **Emergency Management**:

- Respond to emergencies such as spills, contamination, or outbreaks to ensure immediate action.
- Implement contingency plans for high-demand situations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, infection control standards, and waste management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to oversee and inspect large areas of the hospital premises.
- Exposure to bio-medical waste and cleaning chemicals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
