**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage **day-to-day accounting transactions**, including invoices, bills, and supplier payments related to trading activities.
- Prepare and maintain **general ledger entries**, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor **accounts payable and receivable**, ensuring **timely payments and collections** from customers and suppliers.
- Handle **import/export documentation**, including **LC (Letter of Credit), bill of lading, custom duty payments**, and forex transactions.
- Reconcile **bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts** to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including **GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements** related to trading operations.
- Assist in **financial reporting**, including **profit & loss statements, cash flow management, and cost analysis** for trade transactions.
- Support **internal and external audits** by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
- Work closely with the **logistics and operations teams** to track shipments, invoices, and payment cycles.
- Assist with **budget preparation and financial forecasting** to optimize trading cash flows and ensure profitability.

**Key Requirements**:

- **2-3 years of experience** in accounting or a related field, preferably in a **trading/import-export business**.
- **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline**.
- Strong understanding of **trade-related financial principles**, including forex transactions and LC handling.
- Proficiency in **accounting software** such as **Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems**.
- Proficiency in **Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office tools**.
- Good knowledge of **statutory compliances**, including **GST, TDS, and export-import taxation**.
- Strong **analytical skills and attention to detail** to manage financial transactions effectively.
- Good **communication skills** to coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, and auditors.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a **trading or import-export company** handling financial transactions.
- Understanding of **international payments, banking transactions, and supply chain finance**.
- Experience in **financial reporting and budgeting** for trade businesses.
- Ability to **handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently**.
