**What You'll Do**:
Want to build truly unique games played by millions of daily users? As a Game Designer at GSN Games, you will work closely with our Product and Production teams on game development and strategy. You will balance both quantitative and qualitative insights to design and optimize smart, engaging features for our active and growing user base. Responsibilities include:
**Responsibilities Include**:

- Pitch innovative game features that are designed to improve customer acquisition, engagement and/or monetization, but overall must be fun
- Help manage the creative direction of a game throughout Its development and lifecycle
- Manage game systems, economy & Mechanics
- Work with a multidisciplinary team in leading the development and release of a game through its entire lifecycle.
- Work with engineering and art teams to effectively implement new features and systems
- Work with Product managers and data engineers to manage game systems and economy
- Guide mathematicians on the modeling and tuning of complex game systems using Excel
- Analyze live data and player feedback to optimize the existing game experience continually
- Demonstrate ownership of the games and products
- Research:

- Remain current on industry trends, including new game genres and designs
- Work closely with Product and Data to understand GSN Casino user’s needs
- AB test and optimize games, Analyzes live data and player feedback to optimize the existing game experience continually
- Create game design documents, including:

- UX flows that predict and solve end cases including clear feature documentation, diagrams, wireframes, and references.
- Art requirements based on Market research and GSNs quality
- Features flows and conditions for the dev teams team
- Math requirements based on Market knowledge, top GSN games and GSNs target KPI’s
- Writing of game editorial content, including fiction, descriptions, and tutorials
- Direction for marketing purposes

- Mentor and guide Junior game designers in their career paths

**About You**:

- 2+ years game design experience for a shipped product
- Designed games from conception to completion
- Ability to analyze gameplay mechanics and feature designs
- Experience and interest with player-driven economies
- Able to design game systems, individual gameplay features & player progressions
- Understanding of game balance, including statistics, virtual goods, economics and user motivations
- Understanding of interaction design concepts and principles
- Able to excel in an agile team environment
- Outstanding written and oral communication
- Experience writing product specifications
- A passion for playing and making video games
- Bachelor’s degree required; game design degree a plus
- Experience using Excel a plus
