**Job Accountabilities**:

- Review submits for color and quality and provides accurate color comments on submits.
- Give suggestions and recommendations on improvement on resubmit where required.
- Liaison with printing and dyeing Mills and fabric suppliers where applicable and make recommendations.
- Participate in risk assessment meeting and communicate actively with the Production and Product Development teams for the possible failures & corrective actions plans for improvemnt
- Partner with suppliers to address and resolve color related issues and guide the vendors to achieve the same hue across fabrics.
- Ability to take out the Spectro photo meter readings.
- Liaison with the colourtex etc to take out the color recipes bearing in mind the fabric quality.
- Working with the teams on print call outs to set the clients expectations.
- Requesting fabric testing from external testing partners and analyzing test results
- Initiate Internal fabric & garment testing process with supplier for upgrade their fabric quality
- Making Fabrics base hangers along with fabric and component specification
- Fabric color approval based on Visually and Instrumentally.
- Managing all of above within a critical path time frame working closely with design, merchandising and production and reporting on progress
- Dealing with Fabric Issues, Claims and defects also ensuring follow up on any issues
- Manage and update Fabric Testing reports to product Merchant team on physical & chemical test compliance
- Fabric Testing dispositions based on testing analysis.
- Work closely with the Buyers, Design, Garment Technical and Production teams and are a key support on any fabric performance issues.
- Develop relationships with fabric mills regular communication & to resolve quality issues.
- Constantly striving to find ways to make sure all our garments reach the customer’s needs.
- Work with factories to identify, resolve and reduce production quality issues.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Apparel or Mill Sector.
- In Depth knowledge on the various fabric processes - including weaving / knitting /printing
- Superior color vision (as indicated by the Munsell Hue color test)
- Able to work in groups and independently.
- Good computer skills.
- Good Communication in English
