Designation: R&D Executive - Masterbatch & Compounding

Department: Research & Development

Location: HQ Nagpur + Plant

Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Polymer Science, Plastics, or Chemistry

Experience: 2-5 years in masterbatch or compounding

**Role**:

- Develop and optimize masterbatch and compound formulations as per customer or market requirements.
- Conduct lab-scale trials using twin-screw extruders, single screw extruders, and internal mixers.
- Conduct performance tests like MFI, tensile, dispersion, color matching, weathering, etc.
- Work closely with the production team to scale up lab formulations to commercial production.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for product validation and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and approve alternate raw materials or suppliers based on lab trials.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, test results, and formulations.
- Assist in customer complaint resolution and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and technological advancements
- New product development in existing products
- Reading technical magazines & searching patents & research papers
- Product presentation & product - TSD/MSDS

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of polymers (PE, PP, ABS, PA, etc.), pigments, and additives
- Understanding of pigment chemistry and dispersion
- Ability to interpret material safety data sheets (MSDS), TDS, and COA
- Basic understanding of color matching software and analytical tools (e.g., FTIR, TGA, DSC)
- Hands-on with twin-screw extruders and lab testing equipment
- Good documentation and problem-solving abilities

**Immediate Requirement**

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
