**About the organisation**

Advance Paints Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer of industrial, high performance and marine coatings. We are leading suppliers to Indian Navy and Indian Railways having been associated to them for over 3 decades. We have an extensive product range that has been specially developed for infrastructure projects, chemical zones, refineries and others.

**Role Purpose**

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified R&D Assistant with a background in paints to join our dynamic team based in Mumbai.

**Responsibility**
- **Support Research and Development (R&D) Projects**: Assist in planning, executing, and documenting R&D experiments and projects related to paints and coatings.
- **Material Testing**: Conduct various tests and analyses on paint materials and coatings to evaluate their properties and performance.
- **Data Collection**: Collect and maintain accurate data and records related to R&D activities. Prepare reports and summaries as required.
- **Product Formulation**: Assist in the development and optimization of paint formulations, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- **Quality Control**: Collaborate with the quality control team to perform quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished products.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in the paints and coatings sector.
- **Lab Maintenance**: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the R&D laboratory. Properly handle and store chemicals and equipment.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of paint materials, formulations, and testing methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

**Experience Required**
- 6 months to 2 years
- Previous experience working in R&D role within a paint company is highly preferred.

**Qualification**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on paints and coatings.
- Or Diploma in Paint Technology

**Salary**: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
