We are looking for Database Administrators who can help us with the performance, integrity and security of various databases.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work hand in hand with the IT team to deliver high quality work and create innovative solutions to challenging problems
- Understand and implement solutions across disciplines like networking, server management, and AWS administration
- Troubleshoot SQL statements for performance and integrity
- Write, optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- 3+ years of IT Experience
- Proven experience troubleshooting poor database performance via tools such as MS Studio
- Proficient ability to communicate the necessary information and actions needed to teammates
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Experience with the use of AWS EC2 Instances
- Experience in writing, optimizing and maintaining PostgreSQL databases
- Effective collaborator across engineering and IT teams.
- Experience in the use of AWS RDS Database services
- Attention to detail, particularly around software engineering fundamentals, testing methodologies and quality.
