**SAFETY SUPERVISOR JOB DUTIES (CONSTRUCTION)**

**ABOUT THE COMPANY: Miracle Coatings Private Ltd (Formerly Bangalore Paints Pvt Ltd)** was established in 1980 and manufactures the entire range of decorative paints - internal and external, masonry finishes and special industrial formulations paints and coatings.

The Company has in the past been contract (toll) manufacturing for larger paint companies, like Goodlass Nerolac, Shalimar Paints Limited, Jenson & Nicholson, Bombay
Paints Limited, etc.

Simultaneously the Company has signed note-worthy foreign collaborations for high-value products, both in the decorative segment as well as in the industrial segment, adding to our technical expertise and knowledge.

The Company has a technical collaboration, for the manufacture of specialized Industrial
Coatings with Brillux - Germany, which is one the largest paint companies in Germany having a turnover of almost Euro 600 million.

**MCPL is looking for a Safety Supervisor**
- **The job description is as below**:_
- Plan meetings to identify health and safety concerns inherent in daily work plan operations.
- Ensure the preparation and implementation of a Site Safety and Health Plan for the site.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
- Support the development of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and programs.
- Inspect work sites for safety hazards, such as unsafe scaffolding or electrical wiring issues.
- Assign assistants and manage the incident safety organization.
- Organize toolbox talks for workers, supervisors, and other employees at the site, guiding them about safety measures regularly.
- Prevent unsafe acts and take immediate action to avoid them on all sites.
- Inform management about safety plans and requirements, and maintain updated reports according to standard formats.
- Plan and ensure cost-cutting safety measures on the project site.
- Document as per management and client requests.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Ensure proper housekeeping at the site.
- Conduct investigations of all accidents and recommend appropriate safety measures.
- Ensure proper and 100% usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate rehabilitation for injured employees.
- Formulate an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) manual and organizational policy.
- Conduct first aid, fire drills, on-the-job training, toolbox meetings, gate meetings, induction, and emergency precautions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Education**: Diploma in Fire & Safety or a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety is preferred. A Certificate in occupational health and safety is a plus.

**o Language**: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Kannada is preferred.

**o Communication Skills**: Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.

**o Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations, codes, and standards.

**o Risk Assessment**:Familiarity with risk assessment and hazard analysis.

**o Technical Skills**: Proficient in MS Office.

**o Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills to convey safety procedures to workers and management.

**o Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving skills to address safety issues on construction sites.

**o Legal Compliance**: Compliance with local and national regulations is crucial; staying informed about changes in safety laws is essential.

**o Additional Requirement**: Possession of a two-wheeler is a plus.
