Applies systems and/or infrastructure solutions to business/technical problems through the design,

programming, integration, debugging, testing, and implementation of automated information technology systems or infrastructure components.

**Job Description Summary**

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst responsible for development and support of RPA processes using Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Automate. This role is part of the RPA COE meaning that it's focus is not limited to a single group. COE members are tasked with working with multiple groups across the enterprise providing guidance, development, and support services. In addition, this role will work with senior RPA team members to evaluate and implement new RPA tools and services.

**Other job duties include, but not limited to**:

- Competent to perform all programming, development, and/or system administration assignments without close supervision; more complex assignments may require closer supervision and assistance
- Works independently on complex modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems
- Works independently on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components
- Under the direction of more senior staff, assists in the development of major system modules and programs based on requirements gathered from system customers
- Participates in integrated testing and user acceptance of system or infrastructure components
- Assists less senior staff with logic problems and interpretation of specifications
- Fully knowledgeable of current programming languages, program design and specification development, programming logic, logic diagrams, basic system analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and internal systems
- Performs integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software and hardware solutions
- Designs and implements processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support
- Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned

**Background/Experience**

Requires a relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience. The incumbent should be knowledgeable of current technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software; and current development processes and tools.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree
- Overall 5+ years of experience. At least 1-2 years of development experience with RPA tools like Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Automate

**Desirable Skills**
- Relevant RPA tooling certifications
- Experience with other RPA tools
- Other programming experience in another language such as.NET/Java/PowerShell/VB
- Window Desktop/Server infrastructure support or administration experience
- Knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization
