**Job Summary**
Extreme Networks Revenue Accounting team is looking for a Inventory Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be primarily focused on the management and analysis of inventory within our Channel partners and related payment of Back-end rebates (BER). The position will involve resolution of often complex and time critical customer queries in a timely and professional manner. The position requires strong organization skills, as the analyst must work within several databases and spreadsheets detailing the various elements and aspects of inventory holdings in the Extreme Channel. Inventory Analyst will also handle data cleanup, reporting and other similar tasks as well as on-demand projects.
**Primary Job Responsibilities**
- Perform inventory reconciliations of distributor inventory (Monthly / Quarterly)
o Produce supporting schedules and analysis to explain inventory variances at item level between reported Distributor values and balance within E2Open system
o Utilize E2Open CRM and PPI software to understand inventory position
o Understand and correctly account for inventory movements between Distribution Partners
o Analyze list price changes and ensure BER is correctly processed
o Produce supporting schedules and analysis for unpaid backend rebates to distributors
o Produce supporting schedules and analysis for other variable consideration
o Perform reconciliations on a monthly basis of all related feeds into inventory valuation such as product shipments, product returns, Point of sale reporting etc.
o Support audit requests - both external and internal
o Assist in process control requirements and, where appropriate, implement process efficiencies
o Model professionalism and operate in the spirit of teamwork and trust; promote a responsive, supportive, and open environment
o Works well independently and in groups.
o Demonstrates ability to communicate and work accordingly with other departments and external businesses to resolve complex problems.

o Excellent communications skills in written and spoken English are essential
o Must have strong Excel skills including the ability to use VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
o Attention to detail
o Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
o Exhibit effective organizational and time management skills
o Desire and ability to work cross-functionally with other teams
o Ability to identify actions necessary to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
