**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
1. Prepare Blood Components, store at proper temperature and keep track of the temperature lo9gs.

2. Perform and monitor the aphaeresis procedure and co-ordinate with the Nurse / Medical Officer / Consultant Transfusion Medicine for any problems.

3. Perform all the quality control of Blood components and maintain records of the same.

4. Monitor the Quality Control of the tests performed daily and maintain records for the same.

5. Ensure that the technicians are trained in the technique and that they follow the techniques as written in the Standard Operating Procedure.

6. Keep all the records updated and authenticated by the Consultant, Transfusion Medicine at al time.

7. Ensure that Blood and Blood Components are Co-ordinate with the Bio-Medical engineers and ensure that all the equipment are serviced and calibrated in a timely manner and are functioning properly at all times.

8. CO-Ordinate with the Purchase department and ensure timely availability of stocks.

9. Keep track of Reagents that have crossed the expiry limits and ensure that they are discarded appropriately.

10. Ensure the availability of Blood and blood components to meet the in - house requirement of the hospital.

11. Prepare technical reports reflecting volume of work, procedures utilized and test results; coordinate the preparation of reports and analysis setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

12. Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and stocks in the blood bank

13. Follow the health and Safety guidelines.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
