**Role and Responsibilities-**
- Ensure smooth functioning of the General Laboratory.
- Ensure implementation of Quality Management Systems aligned to ISO 15189:2012 & NABL 112.
- To authorize the laboratory reports of the general lab and manage the turnaround time.
- Ensuring the calibration and quality checks of equipment are up to date and maintain their records.
- Conduct & attend meetings with the technical management team.
- To make and assist in reviewing & suggesting changes for continuous improvement.
- To ensure effective communications with lab staff & other departmental personnel.
- Supervising lab staff regarding test protocols and experimentation
- Planning for batches and complete run time for respective tests
- Involved in framing policies for day-to-day administrative operations and maintenance.
- To ensure that all information related to tests or patients which are critical for continuity of patient care is given to the respective clinicians.
- To respond to any report related query.
- To supervise the working of the entire technical department and to ensure its smooth functioning in liaison with other consultants and senior technicians.
- To initiate and implement corrective action for any technical problems pertaining to testing, equipment, technical personnel, technical purchase etc.
- To actively monitor any wastage in the laboratory for efficient inventory management.
- To identify training needs of supporting staff members & evaluate the effectiveness of training imparted.
- Handling of non conformity and taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions in liaison with concerned.
- To participate in external quality assessments.
- Ensure all quality procedures and systems are established, implemented & followed.
- To arrange for internal audits as planned.
- To maintain appropriate quality records

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
