**Role: Geophysicist**

**Role Definition**

Geophysicist is the one responsible for geophysical data acquisition, processing & interpretation and presenting in a comprehensive report.

Customer Interaction during and post-closure of the project

Shall provide technical support to business development team during pre-bid and Also presence in the site during testing to execute the project.

**Qualifications**

Graduate / Postgraduate / PhD qualification in Engineering Geophysics/Geoscience with 2-5 years’

**Responsibility Deliverable**
- Acquisition - the generation and recording of data
- Processing - plotting data and checking for errors
- Interpretation - the analysis and evaluation of geophysical data
- Deep knowledge and experience in using all the geophysical tools (equipment and software - preferably MASW, Downhole/ Crosshole, Seismic Refraction, ERT, GPR, P Wave Tomography, Seismograph, Gravity/Magnetics, Borehole Geologging etc.,)
- Customer Interaction

**Tasks & Activities**
- Experience in borehole geophysics, specifically calliper, natural gamma ray logging, resistivity, fluid conductivity, flow logging, sonic and acoustic televiewer, Optical televiewer, Sidewall Density, Induction, Laterelog and PS suspension logging.
- Experience in borehole seismic techniques i.e., Downhole Seismic Profiling, Crosshole Seismic Profiling, borehole verticality test and Crosshole Tomography
- Surface geophysics including Multichannel Analysis of Surface Wave (MASW), Refraction Microtrimor (ReMi), Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), Electromagnetic and Ground probing radar (GPR)
- Processing, interpretation and reporting of surface and borehole geophysical data for the construction, infrastructure, water resources and Archaeological Investigation industries.
- QA-QC of geophysical data
- Project planning and management.
- An enterprising leader with abilities in mentoring and motivating teams towards optimizing their contribution levels.
- Excellent analytical, scientific writing and presentation skills.
- Liaison with client regarding the technical issues and project execution to optimize the work.
- Experience in evaluation of technical and commercial aspects of project in adherence of purpose of project with the client

**MeasurementMetrics**
- Available in site, in time at any geography for timely completion of project
- Making sure error free field data is acquired
- Generating reports based on data and judgment borne out of experience & expertise is done in time and explained to the customer to make sure their requirements are met.
- The role can involve lots of travel, working abroad or at sea depending on whether you work in exploration or laboratories and academia.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
