**Role Title: GCP Technical Architect**

**Type: Permanent with HCL Tech**

**Work Location: Bukit Jalil, KL, Malaysia**

**Mode: Work from Office**

**Key Responsibility Areas (KRA’s)**

Data Technical Architect, will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures to support our organization's data-driven initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in SQL, Excel, ETL processes, and cloud technologies to architect scalable and robust data solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
**- Data Architecture Design**: Design and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Develop data models, database schemas, and ETL processes to ensure efficient data storage,retrieval, and processing.
- **SQL Expertise**: Utilize advanced SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets efficiently. Optimize SQL queries and database performance to enhance data processing speed and performance.
- **Excel Proficiency**: Leverage Excel to perform data analysis, visualization, and reporting. Develop Excel-based tools and dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics and KPIs.
- **ETL Development**: Design and implement robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into centralized data repositories. Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the ETL pipeline.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively tonon-technical stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in data management and analytics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the organization's data capabilities and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Database Developer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
- Experience designing and implementing **ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.**:

- Exposure to cloud technologies such as **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform**.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications **(e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.**
