**Position Title**: Billing Executive
**Location**: Jalandhar
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately generate and process invoices for prescription and over-the-counter medications using authorized billing software.
- Verify prescriptions to ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, particularly for controlled substances.
- Cross-check medication details, including batch number, expiry date, and quantity prior to billing.
- Manage transactions using multiple payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, digital wallets) with accountability and accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of daily transactions, invoices, and payment summaries.
- Reconcile billing and payment data at the end of each day; report and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with inventory and pharmacy teams to confirm stock availability and resolve billing-related issues.
- Provide a courteous and professional customer experience at the billing counter.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Minimum Educational Qualification**: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in billing within a pharmacy or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Proficiency in billing systems, POS software, and basic financial/accounting processes.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, drug classifications, and prescription standards.
- Understanding of GST and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and interpersonal skills.

**Work Schedule & Compensation**:

- **Working Hours**: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (including rotational weekly offs or as assigned)
