As a Store Incharge in our Heavy Motor Vehicle Workshop, you will be responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of parts and supplies essential for the maintenance and repair of heavy motor vehicles. This role requires effective coordination with workshop personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of materials.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including parts, tools, and supplies.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure proper levels are maintained.
- Implement efficient storage and organization systems.
- **Procurement**:

- Source and purchase parts, tools, and supplies required for vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable terms.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet workshop requirements.
- **Supervision and Coordination**:

- Oversee the activities of store staff involved in receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
- Collaborate with workshop managers and technicians to understand material needs.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize material flow and minimize downtime.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect received materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Implement measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of inventory.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of transactions, including receipts and withdrawals.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and procurement activities.
- Provide input for budgeting and forecasting related to inventory and supplies.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Store Incharge or similar role in a heavy motor vehicle workshop.
- Knowledge of heavy motor vehicle parts and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of DMS Software preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive or heavy motor vehicle industry.

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
