Our Client is a leading renewable energy company. They own, develop, construct, operate, manage, and commercialize renewable energy projects across APAC, with site offices in Japan, North Asia & Australia, Southeast Asia, and India. Our business is organized into 3 verticals - Onshore (Wind and Solar), Offshore Wind, and Energy Storage (stationary and transportable storage) across the Asia Pacific region.

Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Overall management of Land Acquisition activities of operational, development and pipeline projects of the company
- Plans, designs and implement land acquisition strategies/framework suitable for each project site and situation
- Facilitates mid-level negotiation with landowners and project stakeholders to acquire rights over the land
- Conducts due diligence of available land related documents; ensure completeness through facilitation of required curing processes for the perfection of leases/acquisition of properties
- Assists in the preparation of land related documentations as well as facilitation of required activities/programs as part of the requirements and conditions of project financial closure, drawdown or commercial operation
- Works closely with the technical, permitting and investment team and contributes information and recommendation to strategic meetings, plans and reviews
- Forecasts project requirements, expenditures and challenges, analyses options as well as applicable solutions
- Creates schedules for project milestone completion of certain tasks and related project milestones
- Implements processes and system improvements for ease-of-doing-business and reduced time to information
- Benchmarking of cost and approval process of land and approvals states of interest
