**Job summary**:
The Remote Electrical BIM Modeler is responsible for creating and managing accurate, coordinated BIM models of electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects. Working remotely, you will use Revit and other design tools to model lighting, power, cable routing, and electrical panels, supporting design teams and ensuring compliance with project and industry standards.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and update Revit MEP (Electrical) models for power, lighting, cable trays, conduits, and panel schedules.
- Generate 2D drawings (layouts, sections, details) from BIM models for tender and construction use.
- Interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, and engineering markups into BIM models.
- Ensure all electrical elements are properly placed, tagged, and coordinated with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, structural).
- Perform clash detection and resolve issues using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.
- Maintain drawing standards and version control within a cloud-based BIM environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and project managers through remote tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom).

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Diploma/Relevant certification in Electrical or related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Electrical and ELV Design Drafting
- Experience with electrical design software BIM, Revit
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
- 5 to 10 years of experience.
