Program Associate

**Working Title: Program Associate - Viral Hepatitis & HIV**

**Location: Mumbai**

PATH is currently recruiting for a Program Associate to provide support to PATH’s HCV and HIV projects to track deliverables, support and coordinate efforts, and support Senior Program Officer (SPO). S/He will support the implementation of the projects in coordination with SPO and other team members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support in the development of the protocol, literature review, landscaping, and scientific writing.
- Support and coordinate ethical and regulatory approvals as appropriate.
- Coordinate capacity-building activities of the implementing partners and ensure smooth implementation as per the approved protocol/ agreed terms and conditions.
- Coordinate and document key programmatic events, including advocacy and awareness meetings and events at the national and state level.
- Contribute to the development of annual work plans, budgets, reports, and resource mobilization efforts.
- Plan program schedule - preparation of work plan and activities in project geographies
- Track project work plan and update SPO periodically on potential risks, and possible risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate project activities, implementation of the work plan, stakeholder meetings, and track deliverables as per the agreed timeline.
- Keep track of project goals and support SPO to manage changes in scope and facilitate contingency plans in a complex project environment.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and other documentation in coordination with SPO.
- Contribute and support the development of knowledge products in coordination with the program implementation team and knowledge management team.

**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
- Fresher or Minimum of 1-2 years of experience and demonstrated skills in public health and related programs, preferably infectious diseases.
- Experience in projects that involve liaising with Government institutions and private sector players/corporates/healthcare providers/NGOs.
- Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels.
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and intense pressure to perform.
- Experience in analytical, communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
- Excellent skills in facilitation, team building, and coordination.
- Experience in public speaking and professional presentations.
- Field oriented and comfortable with a team approach to programming.
- Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Must have legal authorization to work in India.**
