Quality Control Executive

1. Standards and SOP:

- To identify / define quality standards for particular jewelry manufacturing, for each stage of production process including final inspection stage.
- To define the process for inspection and testing, for identification of defect at each stage of the processing and accordingly guide the production staff.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all jewelry products meet company standards.
- Identify the global standards required in jewelry segment for quality and for manufacturing and aim towards setting up the quality management accordingly.

2. Inspection and Testing:

- Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of gold chains at various stages of production, including casting, polishing, and assembly.
- Identify tools and machines necessary for such inspections and initiate for procurement/ implementation.
- Evaluate the quality of raw materials used in the manufacturing process.

3. Defect Identification & Measures:

- Accurately identify and document any defects, such as loose links, uneven surfaces, or incorrect sizing, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Identify the root cause of the issue and discuss with Production team. If needed, amend the SOP/ process as part of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, defects, and corrective actions taken.

4. Process Control and Improvement:

- To keep watch on tolerances set at each processes for scrap/ loss and work upon abnormal observations with Director/ department
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce defects.
- Analyze data related to quality issues to identify trends and areas for improvement.

5. Customer Support:

- Handle complaints of Customers and effectively resolve the same in reasonable time period.
- Communicate effectively with the production team and other stakeholders regarding quality issues and corrective actions.

6. Compliance:

- Ensure the compliance towards materials/ machines and processes etcwhich are used in manufacturing.
- Science Graduate OR any Graduate with experience of minimum 2 to 3 years in manufacturing of jewelry industry
- Experience in dealing with manufacturing of gold jewelry will have an added advantage

Fresher - who has undergone training in jewelry Manufacturing company with interest in perusing the career in manufacturing of jewelry segment can also apply.

In this case, strong desire to learn and build career with gold jewelry manufacturing is essential
- Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to use measuring tools and equipment to inspect products.
- Ability to identify even the smallest defects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge about ISO standards and specific standards for gold jewelry will have added advantage.
- Statistical process control and data analysis ability shall be added advantage.
- Well conversant with Microsoft word, Xls, PPT, Internet search.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Gujarati and Hindi.

Depending upon profile, the remuneration shall be offered as per industry practice
