**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver an age-appropriate mathematics curriculum that aligns with CBSE/ICSE/State Board standards and school objectives.
- Teach basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, and measurement to students in Grades 1 to 5.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, visual aids, and interactive lessons, to make math fun and accessible for young learners.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and assessments, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Create a supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.
- Identify and support students who may need additional help in understanding mathematical concepts through remedial classes and individualized instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate math into interdisciplinary projects and school-wide activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and provide suggestions for reinforcing math skills at home.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest teaching strategies and educational resources for primary math education.
- Maintain a well-organized and resourceful classroom with necessary teaching materials and manipulatives.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the primary school level.
- Strong understanding of basic math concepts and the ability to teach them in a clear, engaging manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for teaching math.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
