**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing to validate software performance and reliability.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate backend functionality.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in QA automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency.

**Mandatory Skills**:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Xray) and bug-tracking systems.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber BDD.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Good-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with mobile app testing (iOS/Android) using tools like Appium.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Exposure to microservices testing or middleware technologies like Kafka.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/BTech, MCA, BCA, MSc, BSc).
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in QA automation testing.
