**Job Description:

- **
- **Environmental management**: Ensure that the organization follows sustainable practices and minimizes its impact on the environment. Oversee waste management programs, pollution prevention initiatives, energy conservation measures, and other environmental sustainability efforts.
- **Ensuring regulatory compliance**: Stay up to date with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure that the organization complies with all applicable laws and standards. Submitting reports and permits to regulatory agencies.
- **Conducting risk assessments**: Assess the organization's operations and identify potential hazards or risks to employees, the environment, and the community. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and implement appropriate control measures.
- **Emergency preparedness and response**: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, communication protocols, and incident response strategies. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of these plans and ensure that employees are prepared for emergencies.
- **Developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures**: Responsible for creating and updating policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding environmental protection, workplace safety, and employee health.
- **Managing safety programs**: This includes coordinating safety training programs for employees, conducting safety inspections and audits, investigating accidents and incidents, and developing corrective actions to prevent recurrences. Promoting a safety-conscious culture and providing guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- **Data analysis and reporting**: Collect and analyze data related to environmental performance,occupational health, safety incidents, and compliance metrics. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing this information for internal and external stakeholders, including management, regulatory agencies, and auditors.
- **Training and education**: Provide training and education to employees on topics such as hazard identification, safe work practices, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance. Develop training materials and deliver presentations or workshops.
- **Collaboration and communication**: Work closely with various departments within the organization, including operations, Human resources, and legal, to ensure that EHS requirements are integrated into all aspects of the business. Communicate EHS policies, initiatives, and performance to senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.

**Salary**: ₹358,779.73 - ₹500,000.00 per year
