**Job Title**: Pharma Purchase Executive

**Location**: Mumbai Andheri
**Department**: Procurement/Supply Chain
**Reports to**: Purchase Manager/Procurement Head

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning**:

- Understand and analyze requirements for pharmaceutical products, raw materials, and equipment.
- Develop procurement strategies based on supply needs and market trends.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, and service.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts and terms.
- Conduct regular assessments of vendor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- **Order Management**:

- Place orders for pharmaceuticals and related materials after approval from relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders by closely following up with suppliers.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Prevent overstocking or stockouts by adjusting purchase volumes based on demand.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to pharmaceuticals procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier contracts.
- Adhere to pharmaceutical quality standards (e.g., GMP, FDA guidelines).
- **Cost Management**:

- Negotiate prices to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning for the procurement department.
- **Coordination with Departments**:

- Work closely with the finance, production, and quality assurance teams to align procurement activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement strategies align with company goals.
- **Reporting & Analysis**:

- Generate reports on purchase volumes, costs, vendor performance, and inventory levels.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvement.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing or a similar role.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management software, and procurement tools.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze purchasing trends and make data-driven decisions.
- **Communication**: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous in documentation and vendor assessment.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Supplier performance and reliability.
- Cost savings achieved through negotiation.
- Inventory turnover rate.
- Compliance with procurement standards and regulations.
- On-time delivery of purchased goods.
