Overview:
Europe Sector is the biggest region beyond North-Amercia business with UK and Russia being the biggest countries. Europe sector is composed of 2 key businesses (Beverages and Snacks) from which the business is divided into Clusters (6 for Snacks, 5 for Beverages) - each cluster being a composition of different markets (40+ markets in Europe sector). At Europe Sector Business Intelligence CoE, we enable confident decision making and want to be the Undisputed source for holistic data performance by building cutting edge capabilities embedded into all critical business forums.
To achieve this, we’re using and developing contiunuously our Tableau BI platform (PPD - PepsiCo Performances Drivers) leading the IT development alongside of managing the reporting for European C-Suite and building stronger capabilities around Shoppers, Connected Stories and Forward activities. PepsiCo business performances are tracked across 30 countries and 4 macro-categories (Snacks, Beverages, Grains & Dairy).
The Europe Business Intelligence team is structured around 2 teams, working in close collaboration with joint objectives:
- Making ‘Business Impact’
- Providing ‘BI Enablers’
The person will part of the ‘Business Impact’ Team and therefore part of the Europe Business Intelligence Center of Excellence. The person should have very strong Business Intelligence and Analytical skills.
Main purpose of the job is to manage on a daily basis the various reporting share out (weekly) and contribute to all critical business forums such as QBRs, BOD’s, PECalongside of managing any request from C-Suite leaders across Europe (Europe CEO, Categories SVP, Categories Finance Senior Director, FP&A Senior Director, Insights & Analytics VP ).
Expect some strong data manipulation on excel, visualization skills on Power Point and heavy usage of Nielsen Retail Panel, Kantar/GFK/Ipsos Household Panel and BMS.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to any critical and regular business forums using PPD as a main tool to provide accurate diagnostics on PepsiCo, competitors and category performance.
- Heavy focus on all QBRs, Competitive Reviews, PepsiCo Europe CEO LT meetings, PepsiCo Europe TownHalls contribution, RCP reporting for bonus, local BU PBR etc.
- Manage all frequent ad-hoc request and specific questions
- Provide inputs to line manager on reporting optimizations required
- Expand our usage of the PPD Multi-Sources reporting
- Main point of contact for managing relationship with FP&A & Commercial team
- Build awareness around PPD & PEPView 2.0 changes
- Upskill on new Nielsen Discover platform and provide support role if needed with any roll out
Qualifications:
Post Graduate Degree (MBA Preferred, Statistical background preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with reporting, analytics and developing BI solutions
- User interface design capabilities supporting high quality visual and functional experience
- Excellent project management skills esp. with managing supporting teams
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Expert on “Point of Sale” (Nielsen and IRI) databases/metrics a must
- Expert on Kantar/ GFK/ Ipsos/ IRI Household Panel data/ metrics
- Structured thinker / problem solver who works independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Great Collaborator / Team Spirit
- Prior Dashboard designing/ development experience is a plus
- First Data Scientist experience is a plus
- Programming in Python or JavaScript a plus
- Language: English Fluent
