**Purchase Officer - Supply Chain**

Job Description: Warehouse Medicine Purchase Executive

**Location**: Villupuram

**Experience**: Minimum 1+ years in a similar role

**Educational Qualification**:

- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Immediate Joiners Preferred**

Key Responsibilities:

- **Medicine Procurement**:

- Source and purchase medicines from approved suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of medicines.
- Perform regular inventory audits and manage reorder levels.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines in the warehouse.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and deliveries.
- Prepare reports on inventory and purchase activities.
- **Quality Control**:

- Check the quality and authenticity of received medicines.
- Ensure proper labelling and documentation of medicines.
- Handle any discrepancies or issues with suppliers promptly.
- **Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the warehouse team for timely receipt and dispatch of medicines.
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to meet their inventory needs.
- Support the team with any other duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

- Immediate availability to join.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting within the healthcare sector.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
