**Position Overview**:Medinetix Healthcare Private Limited is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Counselor to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Patient Counselor will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding patients through their medical journey, providing emotional support, and ensuring a positive and informed healthcare experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Communication and Support**:Engage with patients to understand their concerns, fears, and expectations regarding medical procedures and treatments.
Provide empathetic and supportive counseling to patients and their families, addressing emotional and psychological needs.

**Information Dissemination**:Educate patients about medical procedures, treatment options, and any associated risks or benefits.
Ensure that patients have a clear understanding of their medical condition and the recommended course of action.

**Coordination with Medical Team**:Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather and communicate relevant information about patients' conditions.
Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, facilitating effective communication and understanding.

**Documentation**:Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
Document patient progress and any significant developments in their treatment journey.

**Crisis Intervention**:Recognize and respond to patients in crisis, providing immediate support and collaborating with the medical team to address urgent needs.

**Follow-up**:Conduct follow-up sessions with patients to assess their emotional well-being and address any ongoing concerns.
Monitor patient progress and report findings to the medical team as needed.

**Patient Advocacy**:Advocate for patients' rights and ensure that their voices are heard in the healthcare decision-making process.
Collaborate with other departments to address patient feedback and improve overall patient experience.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare counseling or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an asset.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
