Barista

**Job Summary**

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment, handling cash and POS transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable and efficient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate beverage and food orders.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards.
- Operate coffee machines, blenders, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries as needed.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately; balance the cash register at the end of shifts.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food and beverage preparation.
- Provide product recommendations and promote menu items or seasonal specials.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Passion for coffee, beverages, and hospitality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

**Work Environment**
- Fast-paced café or coffee shop setting.
- Requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
