Line Operator

Location - Talegaon ,Dabhade
Experience - 1-3 Years in Ice Cream, Dairy Industries.
Salary Range - 37,500 - 45,000 per month in hand.

Starting up, shutting down and troubleshooting Continuous Freezers, Filling Lines having capacity 15000 to 18000 pcs/hr (Cup, Cone, Candy stick, Extrusion, Ripple & Fruit feeders etc.) & packing/wrapping lines.
- Assembly /disassembly of equipment and attach pipes, fittings, or valves, using hand tools as required.
- Set up freezing, filling & Packing\wrapping machines according to product specifications.
- Always Monitor equipment performance to ensure production is confirmed according to product specifications and food safety program.
- Operates one or more continuous freezers and other equipment to freeze ice cream mix into semisolid consistency: Weighs or measures powder and liquid ingredients, such as colour, flavouring, or fruit puree, using graduate, and dumps ingredients into flavour vat.
- Weighs package and adjusts freezer air valve or switch on filler head to obtain specified amount of product in each container.
- They should ensure that the system they oversee work as effectively, efficiently and safely as possible.
- They should involve not only the daily operations but also the continuous maintenance of a facility’s processes.
- Conducting performance tests by measuring production rates, the quality of output, or the energy a process consumes.
- Measure or weigh specified amounts of ingredients or materials, and load them into tanks, vats, hoppers, or other equipment.
- Adjust machine or freezer speed and air intake to obtain desired consistency and amount of product.
- Maintaining all C&D checklists, Production Log Sheets, etc.

**3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**

**Education**

(degree / diploma)
- 10th /12th/ ITI (Fitter)/DME

**Experience**
- 0-3 years’ Experience in the Ice Cream industry and knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards.

**Knowledge and Skills** (Functional / Technical)
- Operations Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Ice Cream Production - Knowledge of techniques and equipment for processing, Freezing, Filling, Packing & Hardening of Ice cream including storage/handling techniques by adhering to SOP’s.
- Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems as per SOP.
- Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Good ability in mathematics, legible handwriting, and good verbal communication skills.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Experience with food manufacturing is a plus.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow all house and safety rules, Standards of Operations, and Procedures
