**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Visual Inspection**:

- Conduct visual inspections of jewelry items to identify any imperfections, defects, or irregularities in design, craftsmanship, or materials.
- Evaluate gemstones, metals, and other components for quality, authenticity, and consistency.
- **Dimensional Accuracy**:

- Verify the dimensional accuracy of jewelry pieces, ensuring they meet design specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to assess the size, shape, and alignment of components.
- **Material Assessment**:

- Examine the quality of metals, gemstones, and other materials used in jewelry production, checking for purity, color consistency, and overall integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and ethical sourcing practices.
- **Workmanship and Craftsmanship**:

- Evaluate the craftsmanship of jewelry, including soldering, setting, and polishing, to ensure that each piece meets the established quality standards.
- Provide feedback to production teams on areas for improvement or refinement in the manufacturing process.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including any defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to communicate findings and suggest corrective actions.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production teams, designers, and quality control colleagues to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss quality metrics, improvements, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or coursework in jewelry design or gemology are a plus.
- Proven experience in jewelry quality control or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
- Familiarity with gemstones, metals, and jewelry manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment for precision inspection.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry quality standards and best practices.
