Godown Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Godown Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse/godown activities including receiving, storing, dispatching, inventory management, and ensuring overall operational efficiency and safety. The role also involves managing a team of labourers and coordinating with logistics and sales teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:AreaDescription**Inventory Management**Maintain accurate stock levels through regular physical verification and system entry. Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.**Goods Inward/Outward**Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing shipments. Ensure timely unloading, checking, and storage of goods.**Labour Management**Supervise and allocate work to labourers. Maintain attendance and ensure productivity.**Coordination**Coordinate with logistics, dispatch teams, sales team, and transporters for timely dispatches and receipts.**Safety & Cleanliness**Ensure the godown is clean, organized, and complies with safety protocols.**Reporting**Maintain daily reports on stock movement, damages, shortages, and manpower. Share reports with higher management.**Damage & Returns**Handle damaged goods, returns, and reconciliation efficiently.**Documentation**Ensure proper documentation of all stock movement, gate passes, and receipts.**Compliance**Adhere to internal SOPs related to handling, loading/unloading, and storage.**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-4 years of warehouse/godown experience
- Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software preferred)
- Ability to lead a team and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and physical fitness
- Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
