We are hiring Warehouse Godown Helper assists in the movement, storage, and organization of goods within a warehouse or Godown. They ensure that products are safely received, stored, and dispatched according to company procedures. The role involves various tasks such as loading and unloading goods, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting inventory management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving and Unloading Goods**:

- Assist in unloading goods from delivery trucks or containers.
- Ensure the proper inspection of goods to verify quality, quantity, and condition upon arrival.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or defects in goods to the supervisor.
- **Storage and Organization**:

- Help store items in the correct locations (shelves, bins, racks, or pallets) according to the organization’s system.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe environment in the warehouse or godown.
- Ensure that stored goods are easily accessible for picking and dispatch.
- **Loading and Dispatching**:

- Assist in loading goods onto trucks or containers for delivery.
- Ensure that goods are securely packed and organized for dispatch to prevent damage during transportation.
- Help in preparing goods for shipment by following packing instructions and ensuring proper labeling.
- **Inventory Support**:

- Assist with periodic stock checks and inventory counting.
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled and identified for easy tracking.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues with stock levels to the supervisor.
- **Handling and Moving Goods**:

- Safely handle goods and products using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Assist in moving heavy or bulky items with the use of equipment such as forklifts (if trained) or trolleys.
- Ensure that fragile items are handled with care to avoid damage.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**:

- Keep the warehouse or godown clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Ensure aisles, walkways, and storage areas are clear and that all items are stored properly.
- Assist in maintaining the condition of warehouse tools and equipment by reporting any faults or damages.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, and safety shoes as required.
- Report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries to the supervisor immediately.
- **Supporting Warehouse Operations**:

- Assist the warehouse supervisor or manager with various operational tasks as needed.
- Help in handling returns or damaged goods by following the company’s procedures for processing returns.
- Provide general support to other warehouse staff and teams as needed.
- **Assist with Documentation**:

- Help with maintaining records of goods received, stored, and dispatched.
- Assist in checking and filing delivery receipts, inventory logs, and dispatch documents as needed.
- **Supporting Inventory Movements**:

- Ensure stock rotation to manage product shelf life, especially for perishable items or products with an expiration date.
- Assist in moving products from bulk storage to picking locations.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
