**Job Title**: Store Helper

**Location**: Velammal Vidyalaya Mogappair
**Reporting To**: Book In-charge
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Job Summary**:
The Store Helper will assist in the daily operations of the school store by supporting the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies. The role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow store protocols under supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in receiving and unloading materials from vendors.
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storing of items in designated places.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.
- Help in physical verification of stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Deliver materials to departments/classrooms as per approved requisitions.
- Assist in packing and dispatching goods when required.
- Notify the Store In-Charge of low stock levels or damaged items.
- Handle material movement within campus with care and accountability.
- Follow safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support during stock audits and inspections.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Prior experience in storekeeping or warehouse assistance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and storage practices.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items.

**Skills Required**:

- Punctuality and discipline.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Basic communication skills (Tamil and/or English).
- Team spirit and willingness to assist wherever needed.

**Working Conditions**:

- This role involves physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- May require occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., school reopening, annual functions).

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
