- Must have experience **in NoSQL databases** (MongoDB, Redis), **cloud environments**.
- Experience in Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios, **MySQL replication**:

- Must Have Skills**:Python scripting, Linux administration, MySQL clustering,**:

- Must Have Deep expertise in managing large clusters is expected.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain **highly available and scalable MySQL clusters**.
- Optimize database **performance, indexing, and query tuning**.
- Manage **replication, backups, restores, and disaster recovery** strategies.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop **Python scripts** for automation, monitoring, and database maintenance.
- Ensure database **security, compliance, and access control policies**.
- Collaborate with development teams to support database needs and optimize queries.
- Perform **schema design, data modeling, and capacity planning**.
- Upgrade and patch MySQL databases while minimizing downtime.
- Work with cloud-based and on-premise MySQL deployments.
- Document processes, procedures, and database configurations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **5+ years** of experience as a MySQL DBA managing large-scale databases.
- Deep expertise in **MySQL clustering (InnoDB Cluster, Group Replication, Galera Cluster, etc.)**.
- Strong understanding of **query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning**.
- Experience with **MySQL replication (asynchronous, semi-sync, GTID-based)**.
- Proficiency in **Python** for database automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with **monitoring tools** like Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM), Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
- Knowledge of **backup and recovery tools** like Percona XtraBackup or mysqldump.
- Familiarity with **Linux administration**, shell scripting, and system performance tuning.
- Experience working with **cloud environments** (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database for MySQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **NoSQL databases** (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
- Knowledge of **containerization** (Docker, Kubernetes) for database deployment.
- Familiarity with **Ansible, Terraform, or other automation tools**.
