We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Department (HOD) to lead the Social Studies department for Classes 9 and 10.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Social Studies department for Classes 9 and 10, overseeing curriculum development, instructional planning, and assessment strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers in lesson planning, instructional methodologies, and integrating technology into teaching practices.
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in social studies education.
- Analyze student performance data to inform instructional decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and monitor student progress.
- Foster collaboration among teachers, promote interdisciplinary connections, and support the school's academic goals.
- Manage departmental administration tasks, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding curriculum updates and student progress.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including mentoring and guidance on academic pathways.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Social Studies Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and at least 5 years of teaching experience in social studies at the secondary level.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of social studies content, curriculum standards, and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in educational technology and data analysis to support teaching and learning.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes equity and inclusion.

**Salary**: 30to 35K

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
