Cpq - QA Administrator

Job Description:

Pentair is currently seeking a platform administrator with an engineering background and quality assurance or user acceptance testing experience to help maintain and grow our CPQ tool. Pentair’s Commercial & Infrastructure business leverages a configured-to-order go-to-market model for our fire, commercial, municipal and industrial pumps. In order to make conducting business easier for our customers, we launched a CPQ tool in 2011 that allows customers to configure pumps, quote and order products from Pentair. This custom global platform has a significant amount of complex business logic and rules to power the configurator as well as integrations to back-office systems to power our commerce platform. This role will report to the CPQ product owner and work among a team of platform administrators and developers in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

You will:

- Develop and execute new technical documentation repository, protecting Pentair IP
- Document and maintain ongoing CPQ customizations in technical documentation repository
- Create test scripts, perform testing and manage approvals for enhancements, data updates, bug resolutions in QA environment.
- Design and implement business policies and procedures from inception through to final deployment
- Support day-to-day troubleshooting with Business Unit stakeholders
- Diagnose and support end-user experience issues
- Diagnose and support integration issues
- Make suggestions and recommendations for modifications and enhancements to system and process improvement and efficiency
- Document and maintain flow, data structure, logic for various product configurations
- Ad-hoc platform administration tasks related to user maintenance, user and organizational data updates, and perform periodic data updates.
- Follow audit procedures set by audit/business teams

You should:

- Have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or information technology
- Have 1 - 3 years’ experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Have 1 - 3 years’ experience developing test scripts and executing quality assurance or user acceptance testing
- Demonstrate outstanding computer skills with emphasis on programming fundamentals and MS Excel
- Have 1 - 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Have successfully managed projects with agile methodology or comparable methodology
