Hands on experience of 8-10 years in implementation, development and support of Salesforce platform. Proficient in designing,building, and implementing custom applications using configuration capabilities of Salesforce platform.

Technical Design, Development and Administration:

  • Design and develop the customized architecture for the CPQ (Contract Management), including data models, integrations and customcomponents.
  • Configure Salesforce and set up user access, security, and data validation rules to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Configure CPQ settings, products, price rules, quote templates, and other components to meet business needs.
  • Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to extend CPQ functionality.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards and enable audit trail to meet business needs.

Development and Customization

  • Implement Salesforce CPQ and advanced approvals package according to the complex business requirements
  • Develop Price rules, Product rules and new Custom Action to achieve business requirements
  • Design dynamic Quote templates and implement Adobe E-sign connector to send the Quote document for e-signature to customer.
  • Develop new Profiles, Permission Sets and Permission Set groups to support the CPQ related objects for users.

Data Migration and Integration:

  • Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation procedures.
  • Integrate CPQ with other Salesforce applications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
  • Integrate Salesforce with other cross-platform business applications via APIs to create a seamless customer experience.

Testing, Training & Documentation

  • Perform unit and integration testing and provide training and support to cross-functional teams
  • Develop user guides and documentation to assist users in effectively utilizing functionalities developed

Deployment and Support

  • Manage the deployment process, including packaging, testing, and deployment to production
  • Implement change management processes to control and manage changes to the CPQ solution
  • Provide ongoing support to users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and training

Certifications (Good to have):

  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect
