We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Designer to support our design team in creating functional and visually appealing interiors. The role involves assisting with FF&E specifications, sourcing, ordering, and managing design elements throughout the project lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

- Supporting senior designers in sourcing and selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment based on design concepts, budget, and client preferences.
- Creating mood boards, presentations, and sample boards to showcase FF&E options to clients.
- Developing detailed specifications for FF&E items, including dimensions, materials, finishes, and quantities.
- Communicating with vendors to obtain quotes, samples, and product information.
- Tracking FF&E costs and ensuring that selections stay within the project budget.
- Doing site visits to assess spaces and ensure that FF&E will fit appropriately.
- Assisting with the installation of FF&E to ensure it is placed correctly and meets design intent.
- Attending industry conferences and expos to stay current with the latest trends in furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of FF&E design principles and trends.
- Proficiency in design software AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with furniture suppliers and industry standards.
- Creative problem-solving and design skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
- 1 year of experience in FF&E sourcing, procurement, or design preferred.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
