**QUALIFICATION**:

- Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology
- Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 1-2 years preferred in same field

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Ensuring good quality service to all the new and existing patients and their family members who attend speech therapy at the TDH centre
- Ensuring that all the patients who come for a speech evaluation get a report of the assessments done
- Assisting and maintaining follow up of the patients handed over to our special educator
- Coordinating with the other professionals at the TDH centre to get a holistic view regarding the impaired child
- Attending the monthly TDH meetings and presenting challenging cases twice in a year
- Creating speech therapy awareness with the medical professionals at the KEM Hospital
- Maintaining follow up records of all the patients who attend our services, reason out probable causes for drop outs and try to improve functioning
- Keeping myself updated regarding the recent advancements in therapy through various workshops and seminars
- Ensuring implementation of the knowledge that I have acquired during therapy
- **Overall Responsibility**
- Maintenance of the educational materials and toy cupboard list and monthly check along with the other therapists
- Daily check of Dr. Speech Software and normative data collection of all age groups
- Following all the rules and regulations of the department and keeping up to the expectations
- Responsible for Stroboscopy and giving a report to the patients
- Looking in the development of telemedicine at BIG EARS, initially to focus on Akola and Nagpur
- Any other work / responsibility assigned by the HOD / Management in the course of business / work whether within the same unit / dept or any other unit / dept from time to time
