Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemistry Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory operations, assist faculty and students during experiments, and ensure the smooth functioning of the Chemistry laboratories.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and chemical reagents for practical classes and experiments.
- Assist faculty and students during laboratory sessions, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of chemicals, instruments, and laboratory inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the laboratory.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot basic laboratory instruments.
- Handle waste disposal according to safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory at all times.
- Support in conducting departmental practical examinations and project work.

Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification:

- B.Sc. or d.pharm. in Chemistry (preferably with specialization in Analytical, Organic, or Inorganic Chemistry).
- Experience:

- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Assistant or Technician in a school, college, or university chemistry lab.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply.
