**Job Overview Summary**:
Manage a portfolio of sourcing categories and strategic sourcing projects. Develop or fine-tune a sourcing strategy for each category as appropriate. Take ownership of end to end
P2P & S2P cycle.
The Procurement Trainee will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within an assigned portfolio of clients. Take ownership of assigned tasks and must adhere to a high level of integrity at all times.

**Track record in strategic indirect procurement and experience in indirect sourcing,**
**Customer service and client facing experience is must.**

**Key responsibilities not limited to as follows**:
1. Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and negotiating prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.

2. Support the procurement process by preparing purchase orders, reviewing purchase requisitions, and verifying delivery of goods and services.

3. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.

4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

5. Assist in evaluating supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

6. Participate in inventory management activities, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and managing stock replenishment.

7. Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient operational processes and procedures.

8. Support the coordination of logistics and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.

9. Assist in resolving operational and procurement issues and inquiries from internal teams or external vendors.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new procurement practices to make informed recommendations for process enhancements.
- Pursuing or Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain or Business
Operations preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

**Education**: - Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
