SCHOOL ACADEMIC SUPERVISOR FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

St. Johns school is dedicated to providing quality education and fostering a nurturing learning environment for our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary School Supervisor to join our team.

**Position Overview**:As a Primary School Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the primary school. You will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to create a positive and effective learning environment for our students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the primary school, including class schedules, recess, and dismissal procedures.
- Supervise students during lunch and recess periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies and procedures as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of special events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, incidents, and other administrative tasks.
- Guide teachers and help in improving existing systems to improve teaching and learning
- Liaison with parents to resolve any issues that parents may have
- Conduct lesson observations to find teaching strengths and fill gaps in teaching
- Check lesson plans, question papers and learning aids

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting for at least 2 years.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
