**Job Title**: DG Technician

**1. Operation & Monitoring**
- Operate DG sets during power failure and monitor performance parameters (voltage, current, frequency, load, oil pressure, coolant temperature, etc.).
- Conduct pre-start checks and ensure DG readiness at all times.
- Record hourly/daily readings in DG log sheets.
- Operate AMF/ATS panels and ensure proper synchronization (if applicable).

**2. Maintenance Activities**
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets, alternators, and control panels.
- Check and maintain engine oil, coolant, and fuel levels.
- Replace filters, belts, and other consumables as per maintenance schedule.
- Assist vendors or OEM technicians during annual maintenance or major overhauls.
- Inspect exhaust systems, batteries, and wiring connections regularly.

**3. Fuel & Battery Management**
- Check fuel quality, storage tank levels, and prevent leakages or contamination.
- Maintain daily fuel logbook and assist in refilling operations.
- Inspect and maintain DG starting batteries; ensure proper charging and voltage levels.

**4. Safety & Compliance**
- Follow electrical and fire safety procedures while working around DG sets.
- Maintain cleanliness in DG room and ensure availability of fire extinguishers and spill kits.
- Report abnormalities, leaks, or unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.

**5. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain DG operation logbooks, maintenance checklists, and service records.
- Report breakdowns, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption to the Site Incharge.
- Update daily activity reports and assist during inspections or audits.

**Educational Qualification** - ITI / Diploma

Pay: ₹31,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
