**Job Description
- Sr. Tech Architect**
- System Integration: Strong knowledge and experience in integrating various hardware and software systems within the life science industry, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
- Network Infrastructure: Proficiency in designing and managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to facilitate efficient data transfer and secure communication.
- Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, enabling the creation and management of virtual machines to optimize server resources and facilitate scalable infrastructure.
- Cloud Computing: Skills in leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to build and manage scalable and secure infrastructure for life science integration solutions.
- Data Storage and Management: Understanding different types of databases, such as SQL or NoSQL, and data storage technologies, including distributed file systems, to effectively handle and manage large datasets within integration projects.
- Security Infrastructure: Knowledge of security protocols, authentication mechanisms, and encryption techniques to ensure data privacy and secure access control within the life science integration ecosystem.
- Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR, as well as industry standards like HL7 and DICOM, to ensure integration solutions align with compliance standards.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Experience in developing disaster recovery plans and implementing backup solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
- Server and Infrastructure Installation/configuration/Monitoring: Proficiency in installation, configuration and monitoring tools and practices to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize performance, and maintain the stability of integrated systems.

Documentation and Technical Writing: Strong documentation skills to create technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, integration workflows, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive reference for the integration infrastructure.

He/She should have a strong understanding of IT systems and IT networking and also have a strong knowledge of manufacturing process systems and laboratory systems within a regulated industry. The engineer also has worked specifically on integration projects working with Data historians and plantwide MES systems integrating the manufacturing equipment with the business systems. A full lifecycle experience of projects within the highly regulated healthcare industry from inception and design through installation, validation and commissioning will be a plus.
- Experience of project management in a matrix organization with a high emphasis on written and formal communication.
- Experience managing complex technical project in IT Infrastructure with a focus on setting and managing large corp. Campus networks and Data Center and associated services.
- Basic hands-on experience and with an ability to run basic a command on Windows, Linux & Networking gear.
- Conceptual understanding on Hyper-Converged, Tier Storage, Backup, Archival & Disaster Recover
- Experience developing & Costing comprehensive solutions using multiple infrastructure platforms and technical components
- Experience with Life Science and/or, Healthcare and Electronics industries is a plus
- Full understanding of and experience managing within constraints of GxP
- Experience using AGILE tools and framework with ability to look up code in Version control tools and basic understanding of PowerShell and Python.
- Working Knowledge of: Process Automation platforms - Instrumentation, PLC / SCADA, DCS, Laboratory platforms Familiarity with Cyber Security (ISA / IEC 2443) - Data Integrity, GAMP / 21 CFR 11, GLP &GDP
