Key Responsibilities of an Optical Assistant:

- **Customer Service**: Assisting patients with eyewear selection, including frames and lenses, understanding their needs and preferences.
- **Preliminary Testing**: Conducting basic eye tests like visual acuity and color vision.
- **Optical Area Management**: Maintaining an organized and well-stocked display area.
- **Record Keeping**: Managing patient records, processing insurance claims, and handling other administrative tasks.
- **Post-Purchase Support**: Providing adjustments and repairs to eyewear, and educating customers on proper eyewear care and lens options.
- **Clinical Support**: Assisting with vision therapy and other clinical tasks under the supervision of an optometrist.
- **Communication**: Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹240,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
