**Job Summary**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement & Sourcing**:The procurement and sourcing process involves identifying and evaluating suppliers for construction materials, conducting market research to source high-quality, cost-effective materials, and fostering strong relationships with vendors.
- **Negotiation & Cost Management**:Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers, monitor market trends, and manage supply chain risks to optimize procurement costs and ensure budgetary alignment.
- **Purchase Order & Documentation**: The role involves issuing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier agreements, tracking order status, and resolving discrepancies.
- **Quality & Compliance**: The individual ensures materials and equipment meet industry standards and project specifications, collaborates with quality teams to address material-related issues, and maintains compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- **Vendor Management & Evaluation**:The process involves conducting vendor audits, performance evaluations, establishing long-term partnerships with reliable vendors, and developing alternative sources to mitigate supply chain risks.

**Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, contracts, and market trends.
- Proficiency in ERP/software for procurement management.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years or more than 5 yrs of procurement experience in the **construction industry** (materials, equipment, subcontracting services).
