**Responsibilities**:

- **CNC Programming**:

- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files to determine the most efficient machining processes.
- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up CNC machines including loading raw materials, securing workpieces, and configuring tooling.
- Operate CNC machinery to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal production.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify any issues related to tooling, machine performance, or program errors.
- **Tool Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.
- Replace or sharpen cutting tools as needed to maintain machining accuracy and efficiency.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of machining processes, adjustments made, and quality control measures taken.
- Document any issues or deviations from the production plan and communicate them to the appropriate personnel.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide feedback on design feasibility and suggest improvements to enhance manufacturability.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to CNC machining.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator and Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of safety protocols and compliance with industry standards.

Education and Certifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in CNC machining is a plus.
