**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production and Maintenance:

- **Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of sponge iron plants, including kilns, crushers, conveyors, and other associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Optimize plant performance, efficiency, and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend maintenance schedules.
- **Design and Development:

- **Design, develop, and implement new projects or modifications to existing plants.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
- **Quality Control and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor and control quality parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and gas flow.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare project reports, schedules, and budgetary estimates.
- **Training and Team Management:

- ** Supervise and train junior engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- **Other Responsibilities:

- **Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to implement new technologies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainable practices.
