Summary:
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assemble and install mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve any issues or problems during the assembly and installation process.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure that all components and systems meet the required standards.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the development and improvement of assembly and installation processes.
- Train and mentor junior fitters as needed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Fitter in a NPD department or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines.
- Certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
