Job Roles of SME:

- Should keep verify the implemented Product Quality assurance of all Food categories across Instamart Supply chain and improve where applicable.
- Should conduct impactful quality assessments on food products for continual improvements and support the business to build best quality and safe products.

FMCG (Food) Expected responsibilities:

- With support of regulatory team, ensure verification and management of regulatory compliance, labeling, product registration, and quality in Instamart supply chain PAN INDIA level.
- Should ensure implementation and evaluation of proposed regulations and submit regulatory communications.
- Should implement on regulatory changes and coordinate with the business to develop and implement impactful supply chain.
- Should develop and Implement auditing processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards, as per business requirements.
- Ensure Development of new formulations and revise if require as a continual improvement for various Food categories and ensure all approvals(regulatory, quality) accordingly.
- Researching, developing, and testing formulations, raw materials, and processing techniques in traditional and/or non-conventional approaches to develop and improve existing products.
- Evaluate ingredient and formula properties like shelf-life studies, testing and consumer perception studies to optimize formula efficiency.
- Discover new additives/ingredients/processes to improve product performance and increase consumer satisfaction.
- Creating and monitoring product specifications for Products to ensure quality and target market competitiveness matched.
- Assist Marketing and Sales by identifying opportunities for current or new technologies developed.
- Ensure proficiency and safety in the laboratory using standard techniques, identify and implement new techniques wherever applicable.
- Visits at Copacker facility with technicians/company representatives, to verify Private Label production activities (First / routine), including Online QC, final product release, running experiments, testing materials, setting up and testing new laboratory apparatus and other activities.

- Should be Capable of working independently and proactively and productively in an open work environment.
- Should be collaborative to a flexible work style with shared accountabilities.
- Should be able and willing to train stakeholders at all levels within the organization PAN India level.

Technical Skills:

- Should have NPD, Regulatory, Quality knowledge on Food categories Education/Experience:

- Should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in food sciences or related fields.
- Should have deep Quality and food safety understanding and knowledge on Products under scope.
- Should have at total at least 3 years of experience, in that at least 1 year in regulatory, rest NPD and quality end to end handling in FMCG. Retail industry is an advantage. Travel: Should be able to travel (20-30%) PAN India level operation sites for audits, Product Launches, Product QC and FG release, trainings etc.,
